This is the contribution planning document for rocketrywiki.org.

1 To Do[edit]

  • Add "DynamicPageList3" extension to "Categories" page
  • Change "Composite materials" page name to "Composite Materials"
  • Update main page
  • Create tutorial page
    • Current page has title error: Creating Help:Contents
  • Create request for article page
    • Current page has title error: Creating ScoutWiki:Inspiration
  • Create a sandbox page
    • Current page has title error: Creating RocketryWiki:Sandbox
  • Update the getting started “user account” link to be Create account link from top toolbar instead of Creating RocketryWiki:User account
  • Add “Infobox” functionality
  • Add a page request, reward, and grading system
  • Add page discussion functionality
  • Get * bullet point functionality working. Currently creating periods.
  • Add mobile responsive functionality

2 Miscellaneous thoughts[edit]

  • Should we just link to Wikipedia for certain topics? Or copy the page and cite that it is from Wikipedia? Rocket engine - Wikipedia is a good example of something that could probably be mostly copied with some additions for model rocketry specifically.
  • Will this wiki be exclusively for model rocketry? Some professional rocketry information could be worthwhile like notable rocket scientists and historical events.
